Rates & Services
My boat is a comfortable 18 ft Alumacraft boat with all safety equipment, padded seats and windshield. I provide life jackets, tackle, bait, a cooler of drinks and I clean and bag the fish, ready for you to cook or to freeze. Boat gas is included too.
I can take up to 3 adults or a combination of up to 4 adults and kids in my boat comfortably. For larger parties pontoon boats are available. With any of the pontoons I will provide all my usual services and equipment. Rental of these are separate from my fee. You are always welcome to bring and use your own tackle.

Rates:
Fishing at Lake Palestine:
- My boat - $250 half day, $425 full day
- Your boat - $225 half day, $375 full day
- Pontoon boat - $225 plus you pay the rental
Half day is up to 5 hours on the water, full day is up to 9 hours. Going in your boat I'll still provide the tackle, bait, cooler of drinks and fish cleaning.
Fishing at other lakes:
The same as above, plus a market-rate gas surcharge for the drive. You can ride with me to save on your gas expense.
Lake orientation:
- My boat - $250
- Your boat - $200
- Sit-down briefing - $35 per boat
Fishing tackle lesson:
$35 per family
Vacation planning: no charge
I do not receive a commission or fee from any of the places we discuss.
Deposits: $100
For any boating trip, fishing or orientation, my boat or yours, a deposit is required to positively hold your requested date. Deposits are fully refundable up to 2 days prior to the requested trip, or can be applied to a later trip.
Payments:
I like cash, personal checks are fine, too. No credit cards.
