Fishing report 13 Jan,Water level 1.25 ft above pool, no problems reported from any launches. Water temps 51-53 degrees.
Big cold front came through last weekend, a little warming, then another cold spell due next week. None of this is good for the fishing, just makes it uncomfortable.
WHITE BASS- good, but very limited bite period. Try to be there right after sunrise, try the channel in front of Flat Creek Island, then the humps of Highsaw Bay.
HYBRID STRIPERS- good, but again, limited bite periods. Try trolling the channel in front of the Eagles Bluff boathouses, and the channel leading to the overflow spillway. For trolling use redneck trolling rigs with Pet spoons, or yankee trolling rigs with Coyote spoons. Report by Jim Beggerly, jimsfishinglakepalestine.
